Vessy is the founder and lead English teacher at Got Your English. She combines academic expertise with a warm, personal and highly practical teaching style.

Her lessons are structured, encouraging and focused on helping students use English with more clarity, confidence and personality.

Vesselina Naidenova holds a PhD in Education, specialising in Learning, Teaching and Social Policy, from Cornell University in the USA. She has more than 20 years of professional experience, much of it gained abroad, and brings a rare combination of academic depth, international perspective and practical classroom experience to her English lessons in Sofia and online.

Before founding Got Your English, Vessy worked with various UN agencies, including UNICEF, UNDP and UNRWA, as well as higher education institutions across the USA, the Middle East, North Africa, Asia and Europe. Until 2017, she served as an Assistant Professor of Educational Policy and Leadership in the United Arab Emirates.

After returning to Bulgaria, she began applying her expertise to innovative English teaching across all levels — from General English and speaking-focused courses to Business English, exam preparation, IELTS, Cambridge exams and personalised English training for professionals.

Her students come from a wide range of professional and educational backgrounds: ambitious adults, young learners, exam candidates, corporate clients and professionals who need English for real communication. Her teaching experience spans thousands of successful English sessions with students from different age groups and levels.

Vessy is known for lessons that are clear, structured and warm, with a strong focus on confidence, communication and practical language use. Many students describe her not only as their English teacher, but as someone who genuinely supports their progress and understands their goals.

Beyond the classroom, Vessy has built a large online community of English learners through her English-speaking group and practical English tips on social media. Her wider expertise also includes programme and project management, research, professional development, partnership building, quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation.

Simka Stefanova has dedicated her professional life to the English language. After graduating from the First English High School in Sofia, she studied at the University of Portsmouth, where she earned both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Management and Marketing.

During her studies and professional development, Simka discovered that teaching — especially business-related subjects in English — is where her true passion lies. This background helps her connect English lessons with real communication, academic confidence and practical professional situations.

Simka expanded her teaching experience through online educational projects, creating engaging films and interactive educational content in collaboration with the UK Academy of Higher Education and the Virtual University of Bavaria. She has also co-authored a Mathematics textbook for Economics and contributed to Cambridge OCR exam materials.

She spent six years teaching English at the American College of Sofia, where working with young people became one of her most rewarding personal and professional achievements. At the American College, Simka refined her ability to adapt lessons to students’ individual English levels, learning styles and goals.

As an accredited English teacher, Simka focuses on effective communication. For her, good English teaching means much more than explaining grammar: it means understanding students’ challenges, building their confidence and making learning enjoyable, useful and rewarding.

At Got Your English, Simka teaches English courses across different levels and supports learners with General English, Academic English, exam preparation, project preparation, teen English courses and business-related topics. Her lessons are structured, encouraging and designed to help students feel more capable when using English in real situations.

Dayana Horozova is the co-founder of Got Your English and leads the company’s business and marketing strategy, partnerships, programme development and client communication.

She holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Communication from the University of Amsterdam. Her professional background includes conducting in-depth brand reputation research, developing marketing strategies for B2B and B2C clients, and working with Business Intelligence tools.

Dayana has worked with renowned international companies and brands such as LVMH, Richemont, Chanel and Konica Minolta. She has also collaborated with CleanTech Bulgaria and IKEA during the launch of an innovative green startup.

At Got Your English, Dayana helps translate the school’s teaching philosophy into clear programmes, client-friendly communication and modern learning offers. Her work supports the development of English courses, Business English programmes, corporate English training and new formats for professionals and adult learners.

Her approach combines strategic thinking with a strong sense of brand voice. This is why Got Your English sounds and feels different from many traditional English schools: more personal, more practical, more modern and more focused on the learner’s real-life goals.

Dayana has also completed comprehensive educational programmes in digital marketing. In her spare time, she enjoys a good movie or book and keeps her personal social media use mostly for sharing smile-worthy content with friends.
